AUCKLAND WATERFRONT BIKE RIDE
Ride from underneath Auckland harbour bridge along a dedicated bike path all the way to St Heliers, around 10km stretch. Along the way there are many many cafes, bards, restaurants and ice cream spots to stop. Bring you swimwear to cool off at several beautiful Auckland beaches along the way.

This ride it great if you've got a cruiser bike to take it gently and stop often. It's also suitable for road cyclists given the wide Tamaki Drive, a popular route for cyclists. You'll see bike groups parked up at beachside cafes at the end of their ride.

Link in side trips, for example Bastion Point, the Auckland city bike paths (including the Lightpath), Parnell. And if you're on a road bike you might enjoy heading further east around Glendowie with a cliff top circular road.
