Sea Kayaking on Waiheke Island is the very best way to explore the stunning coastline and appreciate the island's beauty. As featured in National Geographic Traveller magazine.

Waiheke Island is the jewel in Auckland's Hauraki Gulf. Home to historic sites, wildlife and diverse habitats, Waiheke is the ultimate island retreat and is only 35-minute ferry ride from downtown Auckland. We start our sea kayak adventure in the calm waters of Matiatia Bay and head north-west to explore the stunning, diverse coastline abundant with wildlife. Upon arriving in Owhanake Bay we stop for refreshments and take in this stunning island paradise.

The second paddle section explores the more exposed and remote northern point before rounding the headland into spectacular Oneroa Bay.

After your kayaking, we transport you back to Matiatia or one of the wineries / restaurants close to Oneroa township.

Meeting point is: Matiatia Wharf, Waiheke Island
If catching a ferry from the Auckland Ferry Building we recommend the Fullers 9.00 am daily departure. Ferry ticket is not included in the tour cost.
